Our Amazing Neighbors

We moved into our house 5 years ago and immediately, became good friends with our neighbors Beth & Jim. Let’s go back several months to Election Day 2008… Jim was in his backyard doing some yard work, which he loves to do. Something was wrong, he didn’t feel right. Severe pain in his chest. He walked up the stairs to his deck and told Beth to call 911. He was rushed to Lewistown Hospital then life-flighted to Danville. Jim had a dissecting aorta and was immediately rushed into emergency surgery where he was saved. It’s been a long recovery for Jim but day after day, he marches on and slowly but steady, he gets stronger.

As the holidays approached, Kandy & I presented Beth & Jim with a certificate for a portrait shoot whenever they were ready. Yesterday, was that day. Here are a few photos from our session. Oh yeah, their son Jason was in town to celebrate Jim’s upcoming birthday this weekend…

Mallory & Ryan

The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding in such a beautiful location, the Hunter Valley Winery. Up on a bluff, overlooking the river, it was a day to remember. Mallory & Ryan pledged their love and their hearts to each other in front of family & friends and then it was party time. Here are some images from their day. I hope everyone enjoys them…

Kate & Mitch – Lewistown Jr. Prom

© 2009 Frank DiGiorgio

It’s prom season here in Lewistown and I can not believe that my niece is old enough to go to prom this year.

Kate, I was your age [now] when you were born. It seems like yesterday I was looking in the hospital nursery window at you, and here you are looking more beautiful than I could have imagined you on the day of your prom. I am so happy that you got to experience this… What a beautiful young woman you’ve turned out to be!
