ANNOUNCEMENT: As of January 9, 2010, I'm no longer shooting weddings due to medical reasons. I'll continue shooting portraits; seniors, engagements and families. Thank you for your support and understanding.
I'm Frank ~ a photographer based in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. I love photography. I've shot weddings, engagments and senior portraits and from time to time, I've done the occasional family shoot. The purpose of this blog is mainly for my professional work but I will throw in some personal insights every now and then. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, if it's true, then don't you deserve to have your special day captured beautifully? Pictures are the ultimate way to freeze time. No matter how much life changes, you can always look back to the way things were in that amazing moment and smile. Please, take your time and browse through our site.
I hope this blog will show our clients [past, present, and future] a little more about who I am, what I like to do and what's in store for my photography business. If you see anything you like, please feel free to leave a comment. I love comments ;-)
You can view most of my galleries [weddings, engagements, senior portraits] at our online lab [click <---- that link]. We truly hope you enjoy what you see.
It was quick, down & dirty, one location, 45 minutes, done. Nicholas was great to work with and I hope he and his mom like what we’ve accomplished. Here’s some of my favorites from our shoot…

Had a great shoot tonight with Taylor who is graduating from Huntingdon this year. Some of you may remember Travis from last year. You do? Well Taylor & Travis are cousins. Anyway… to say it was hot would be an understatement – it was, by far, the hottest day of the year. Taylor was a trooper and off we went. Unfortunately, the storms did move in as we were finishing up but we were able to cover all the spots he wanted. A big thanks to Taylor’s mom Dawn – who chauffeured us around this evening. Oh yeah… Hi Nan…thanks for the water…

We moved into our house 5 years ago and immediately, became good friends with our neighbors Beth & Jim. Let’s go back several months to Election Day 2008… Jim was in his backyard doing some yard work, which he loves to do. Something was wrong, he didn’t feel right. Severe pain in his chest. He walked up the stairs to his deck and told Beth to call 911. He was rushed to Lewistown Hospital then life-flighted to Danville. Jim had a dissecting aorta and was immediately rushed into emergency surgery where he was saved. It’s been a long recovery for Jim but day after day, he marches on and slowly but steady, he gets stronger.
As the holidays approached, Kandy & I presented Beth & Jim with a certificate for a portrait shoot whenever they were ready. Yesterday, was that day. Here are a few photos from our session. Oh yeah, their son Jason was in town to celebrate Jim’s upcoming birthday this weekend…

The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding in such a beautiful location, the Hunter Valley Winery. Up on a bluff, overlooking the river, it was a day to remember. Mallory & Ryan pledged their love and their hearts to each other in front of family & friends and then it was party time. Here are some images from their day. I hope everyone enjoys them…
